PrimeFit Privacy Policy

PrimeFit (“the app”) is a fitness application that helps users follow workout programs, track workout history, record body measurements, and optionally sync limited health data.
This Privacy Policy explains what data PrimeFit collects, how it is used, how it is stored, and what rights users have regarding their data.

2. Data We Collect
Account and authentication data
- Authentication data from Google or Apple Sign-In
- Name, email address, and profile photo
- Access and refresh tokens
PrimeFit does not collect or store passwords. Sign-in is handled through Google or Apple.
Profile data
- Fitness goal
- Fitness level
- Equipment preference
- Preferred measurement unit
- Workout reminder time
Workout data
- Selected or custom workout programs
- Workout days
- Completed sets, reps, and weight values
- Workout duration
- Workout history
- Personal records and progress statistics
When your device is offline, sets you record are stored temporarily on the device and sent to our servers once a connection is available.
Body measurement data
- Weight
- Other body measurements entered by the user
- Measurement date
Health data
With the user’s explicit permission, PrimeFit may read limited health data from the device’s health platform, such as:
- Step count
- Heart rate
- Resting heart rate
- Sleep data
- Active calories burned
Health data is used only to display health and progress summaries inside the app.
Health data written back to the device
With the user's explicit permission, PrimeFit also writes the data the user records inside the app back to the device's health platform (Apple Health / Health Connect), so it appears alongside data from their other apps:
- Workouts finished in PrimeFit (duration and an estimated calorie value)
- Water logged in PrimeFit
- Meals logged in PrimeFit (calories and macronutrients)
- Body weight entered in PrimeFit
This writing is optional and can be switched off at any time from the Health screen inside the app; it also never happens without the platform permission. PrimeFit only replaces or removes the records it wrote itself and never modifies data written by other applications.

This data is used only to send workout reminders and app-related notifications.
Technical and diagnostic data

- Request timestamps
- Device and app version information
- Crash reports: crash logs, stack traces, device model, and operating system version
Crash reports are collected through Google Firebase Crashlytics and are used only to diagnose and fix crashes and errors in the app. They are not linked to your identity, are not used for advertising or tracking, and are not sold or shared with data brokers. Diagnostic data is otherwise used for security, debugging, abuse prevention, and service improvement.

4. Sharing of Data
PrimeFit does not sell user data. Data may be shared only with service providers required to operate the app, such as:
- Google or Apple, for authentication
- Firebase, for push notifications
- Google Firebase Crashlytics, for crash and diagnostic reporting
- Cloud hosting and database providers, for secure data storage
- Cloudflare R2/CDN, for serving exercise media
- Logging and monitoring services, for debugging and service security
These providers may process data only as needed to provide their services.
Weekly leaderboard (optional, off by default)
PrimeFit offers an optional weekly leaderboard. Participation is opt-in and disabled by default. If, and only if, a user turns it on:
- The nickname chosen by the user is shown to other participants — the real name, e-mail address and profile photo are never shown
- Only the number of workouts completed in the current week and their total duration are shared
- No health data, body measurement, weight or nutrition entry is shared
- Participation can be turned off at any time from the leaderboard screen; the user then disappears from the list immediately
5. Health Data
PrimeFit does not access health data without the user’s permission. Health data:
- Is not used for advertising
- Is not sold to third parties
- Is not used for marketing profiling
- Is not included in crash or diagnostic reports
- Is used only for fitness, workout, and progress features inside the app
- Is written back to the device's health platform only for the user's own records (workouts, water, meals and body weight), only with permission, and only into records created by PrimeFit
Users can revoke health permissions at any time from their device settings.
6. Advertising and Tracking
PrimeFit does not use user data for third-party advertising or behavioral tracking. If advertising SDKs or tracking tools are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated and any required user consent will be requested.
7. Data Retention
Account data is retained while the user account remains active. Crash and diagnostic reports are retained for a limited period (up to 90 days) and then deleted.
When a user deletes their account:
- Personal account information is deleted or anonymized
- Refresh tokens and push notification tokens are deleted
- Some limited records may be retained where required for legal, security, or technical reasons
8. Account Deletion
Users can delete their account from within the app. After account deletion, personal data associated with the account is deleted or anonymized. This action may not be reversible.

9. Data Security

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
10. User Rights
Depending on applicable law, users may have the right to access their data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, object to certain processing, request a copy of their data, and withdraw permissions or consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].
11. Children’s Privacy
PrimeFit is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
12. International Data Transfers
Data may be processed on servers or by service providers located in different countries. Where this occurs, reasonable safeguards are used to protect user data.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updated versions will be posted at this address. Significant changes may also be communicated through the app.
